Big Flats Little League Baseball - About

The Big Flats Little League is a volunteer organization in the town of Big Flats located in upstate New York. The first Big Flats Little League organizational meeting was held May 8, 1950. The chairman was the Rev. Wesley Kehler, with Mrs. Gladys Kahler serving as secretary, Mr. Dalton Minard, Sr. serving as vice chairman, and Ernest Dickinson serving as grounds chairman.* The purpose of the Big Flats Little League organization is to provide a fun- and skill-based recreational and athletic environment for children of Little League Baseball age in the area. Our primary goal is to provide children with a proper and rewarding environment to enjoy America's favorite pastime while learning about proper conduct and sportsmanship.

Codes of Conduct

An important part of playing Little League baseball is the message about good sportsmanship. To make sure we're all on the same page, the Big Flats Little League has developed Codes of Conduct for Managers/Coaches and for Players/Parents. In order to ensure that we are all aware of these codes, everyone (managers, coaches, players and parents) should read, understand and will be asked to sign, a Code of Conduct form prior to participation in the league.

The Player/Parent Code of Conduct can be viewed on this page or
downloaded as an Adobe PDF document by clicking here.

The Manager/Coach Code of Conduct can be viewed on this page or

Copies of these forms will also be available at registration for signature.
